Aris Global Introduces Enhanced User Interface and New Key Functionality with Release of ARISg™ 6.1

New features incorporated into leading pharmacovigilance and clinical safety system address today's complex safety challenges

AT THE DIA CONFERENCE (Boston, MA) - June 23, 2008: Aris Global, a leading provider of software solutions for the life sciences industry, today announced the general release of ARISg 6.1. The latest version of ARISg includes significant new improvements including an updated user interface and new functionality that simplifies the varied safety operations performed by different users. With this latest version, ARISg also delivers extended blinding support and enhanced case distribution and submission tracking capabilities among a long list of other new features.

During the DIA 44th Annual Meeting, Aris Global will be demonstrating ARISg 6.1 capabilities in its booth #834 in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

ARISg 6 New Features and Enhancements

ARISg 6.1 is imminently available for general release with several customers currently underway with upgrading to the new release. In addition to the improved graphical user interface, ARISg 6 enhances the user's experience with new capabilities and features, including:

• Personal, user, or group dashboards (homepages) - offering complete flexibility for configuring homepages to reflect personal roles and responsibility
• Interactive views (iViews), which allow users to view or represent data in the form of charts or listings for immediate analysis
• Standard and user-defined metrics reports - for compliance and performance monitoring
• Blinding / unblinding support - extensive security for blinded clinical trial access and reports including CIOMS, MedWatch and CIOMS LL
• Enhanced case distribution and submission tracking - integrated tracking of authorities and partners; support for document attachments
• Serious MedDRA term maintenance - pre-determine MedDRA serious terms
• Comprehensive literature library - To track and maintain source literature
• Pregnancy registry - a new classification for tracking pregnancy cases
• MHLW support - full support in accordance with the MHLW 'Green Book'
