Director, Clinical Solutions
Vitthal heads ArisGlobal’s clinical business unit. In that capacity, he is responsible for the unit’s strategy, vision, product management and overall success. Vitthal has more than 18 years of experience in the information technology industry, with a primary focus on life sciences. Prior to joining ArisGlobal, Vitthal has worked with leading software companies, where he was responsible for product architecture, product management, development and successful implementation of many large scale projects with hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. Vitthal holds bachelor degree in computers and mathematics including several certifications.
VP Engineering and Global Safety Customer Support
Sai is responsible for overseeing all engineering and global safety customer support practices for ArisGlobal. In this capacity, he works closely with internal product management and process organization teams to design innovative, highly scalable and high performing Cloud-ready applications. Prior to ArisGlobal, Sai worked for Aptean (formerly Consona Inc.) as VP of Engineering. During his tenure, Sai also managed all of Aptean’s India Operations. Holding Leadership responsibilities for more than 15 years in Software Engineering, Sai completed the Engineering prior to many Certifications with Post Graduation Diploma from Annamalai University, India in 1985.
Vice President, Finance and Legal
Praveen joined ArisGlobal in October 2017. In this capacity, Praveen is responsible for controllership, financial planning and analysis, taxation, treasury, procurement and assurance. He is also responsible for Legal and Commercial Operations. Prior to joining ArisGlobal, Praveen was the Director of Finance at Bioclinica for over two years. Praveen was also with Wipro Technologies for about 15 years in various roles within the finance function, including business finance and controllership. Praveen holds a degree in cost and management accounting and a CPA from American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Senior Vice President, Regulatory
Wim Cypers has been with ArisGlobal for nearly 25 years. In this capacity, he heads all Regulatory business unit operations, including overall product vision, strategy, implementation, and success of ArisGlobal’s Regulatory solution suite. Wim has long standing experience in converting business requirements into application functionality; and consistently showing industry thought leadership in areas like IDMP. He has applied his pharmacist training into a keen understanding of how to solve complex business issues. Before focusing exclusively on ArisGlobal’s Regulatory business unit, Wim managed the company’s strategy and product management function for both the safety and regulatory solutions. Before joining ArisGlobal, Wim worked at Janssen Research Foundation in Belgium. He graduated as an industrial pharmacist at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. With a passion for spaceflight he works out of Belgium where he lives with his family.
Vice President, Global Pharmacovigilance
Vivek is responsible for strategy, execution and thought leadership for the Safety business unit. He has seventeen years of in-depth experience in pharmacovigilance in multinational biopharmaceutical organizations. Vivek is an industry thought leader who brings a deep interdisciplinary expertise and strategic orientation to the integration of advanced technologies. He best describes himself as a ‘generalist in pharmacovigilance’ with experience of having worked in worldwide regulations related to drugs, vaccines and devices and also having worked on various national programs with the governments in the South Asia region. Vivek has co-authored the Pharmacovigilance Program of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India). He has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Chandigarh, and an MD from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Vivek also has an Executive MBA from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
Executive Vice President, Medical Affairs
After joining ArisGlobal in 1992, Simon Sparkes has held a number of key roles within the organization. Currently, Simon leads the Medical Affairs business unit developing the LifeSphere Medical Affairs compliance platform. Initially joining ArisGlobal in sales, Simon lead the global sales and marketing function before taking responsibility for European operations where he managed the sales, services and customer support functions. After a company reorganization, Simon took the role of head of product strategy, helping the company formulate and deliver its safety, clinical and medical information product lines. Before joining ArisGlobal, Simon studied Computers and Communication Systems initially starting his career in computer systems operations and networking.
ArisGlobal Japan Regional Director
Katsuhiko is the Regional Director for ArisGlobal’s Japanese office, where he manage clients from Japan, China and Korea. Previous to ArisGlobal, Katsuhiko was Japanese President of WorldOne K.K., a medical market research company. Katsuhiko also worked for Phase Forward Japan K.K. in 2000 as Sales Director, and promoted to Japanese President in 2006. Katsuhiko started his career as MR for Boehringer Ingelheim Japan, Inc., Marketing for GlaxoSmithKline K.K., and was the founder of Luminary Medical K.K. Katsuhiko graduated from the faculty of law at Doshisha Univ. in Kyoto.
Chief Commercial Officer
Peter Leister manages all client partner and sales organization activities for ArisGlobal, with the ultimate goal of commercial excellence and customer success. Previous to ArisGlobal, Peter was the Chief Strategy & Sales Officer at Genpact Pharmalink, a partner at Accenture, where he led the Life Sciences R&D business in the DACH region, and a consultancy professional at IBM and PWC. He is pharmacist by education, with 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical & Life Sciences sector and has a track record of successes as entrepreneur as well as in Life Sciences R&D projects – spanning from strategy to portfolio & process optimization, to organizational re-design, to outsourcing and large-scale change and implementation programs. Peter is based in Hamburg, Germany where he lives with his family.
Chief Strategy Officer
Manish is responsible for all aspects of marketing, management, business strategy, and technology. Prior to joining ArisGlobal, Manish was the Global Vice President of Products, Portfolio, and Information Technology for Janssen Pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson. Before joining J&J, Manish founded and managed a boutique consulting firm that helped major corporations apply emerging technologies to disrupt established business models. In addition to his experience in healthcare, Manish worked in Citibank and developed application ecosystem for high-frequency trading. Manish holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Manish will be based in our Princeton office.
COO and President, APAC
Ashok Katti heads Global Delivery and Operations for APAC and has over 25 years of experience in life sciences. Based out of India, Ashok is responsible for execution of strategies set by the organization. He is also responsible for Product Development, Services, Cloud Technology and APAC operations. Ashok started his career with ArisGlobal and held key positions including heading Global Professional Services before moving to sister company Synowledge heading Global Delivery & operations. He joined ArisGlobal in 2016 and has been instrumental in bringing operational efficiencies and transformations in global delivery model. Ashok Completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Karnataka University and Executive MBA from UCONN.
President and CEO
Sankesh Abbhi is the President and CEO of ArisGlobal. In this role, he is focused on expanding ArisGlobal’s business by building a strong and unique product platform and launching important new products for the benefit of customers, patients, employees and shareholders. Sankesh began his career as the founder of Synowledge, a knowledge processing company that was eventually acquired by BioClinica. In that role, he gained a unique perspective of ArisGlobal as a customer, including invaluable functional experience in safety, regulatory, medical affairs and clinical. Sankesh is a seasoned businessman, graduating with a BA in Economics from Columbia University in 2008.
