Integrated CTMS Is Vital to Today’s Clinical Trials

A Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) is just one out of a number of different systems that today’s pharmaceutical or biotech company uses during the course of their clinical development efforts. While many CTMS systems are similar in terms of basic functionality, several important questions that should be asked of every vendor is to understand the extent for which their CTMS integrates with other technologies and systems being used, as well as the specifics for how they accomplish those integrations.
A stand-alone CTMS is becoming perceived by most industry professional as a relic. Integration with other clinical and non-clinical systems – EDC, IWRS, Regulatory, Safety, CRM, Financial, Analytics – are now recognized as necessities to effectively compete, avoid bottlenecks and data redundancies, and enabling process automation to deliver powerful efficiency gains. Add to that the need for Cloud-based deployment and being fully mobile-enabled, and that CTMS can be transformative in managing today’s complex clinical trials.
In ArisGlobal’s December 10th webinar, “Under the Hood: What CTMS Functionality Is Required to Transform Today’s Clinical Trials” I will share more on this topic along with other important system considerations and must-have CTMS features. I hope you can join us (you can register here) or view it on-demand once the recording is posted online to www.arisglobal.com.
